This full-time position for a Physical Therapist is based in Apopka, FL, supporting K-12 schools within the School District of Osceola County. The role is a contracted assignment for the 2025-2026 school year, running from ASAP through May 28, 2026. This on-site-only opportunity involves providing physical therapy services across multiple schools, with daily assignments designed to minimize travel where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students individual needs.
- Manage caseload based on severity and workload demands.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy services in compliance with district policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physical Therapist licensure.
- Experience working in school-based physical therapy settings preferred.
- Ability to travel daily between schools within the district.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
